I did quite well in math (would average 90s) until Grade 10 when I first entered per-calculus and unfortunately had a teacher who was done with teaching (although I don't think he had realized that). By the time Grade 12 came along I was attending after school math tutoring for 2-3 hours a day just to pass our provincial exam. Just when I thought that I got it all, or understood it, along came my test that was littered with red pen. So frustrating. I dread having to help the girls with those things that made no sense at all to me.
