Talking About Books on the Today Show
I got to spend the morning on the Today Show set talking about some of my favorite picks for books that transcend gender. Embed code is not working for some reason, so here's the link to the segment.
Love that you called your hosts on the choice of chairs! As a dad of three girls, I know my kids often choose the 'boy' version of toys, books and activities. But it seems the toy industry, at least, wants everything either camo or pink.
My girls also aren't big on reading, and I attribute that to the awful reading lists their schools have. I wish they had some of the titles you mentioned in this segment. You have to show a kid a book about something that interests them to get them to read.
